I'm a designer and technologist working on AI that fits how people actually live — on the screen and off it. My research focuses on how AI changes social and cognitive behavior.

Currently, I lead design and experience at Hypha where I was the founding design hire and own the product from research through production. We recently closed a $50M seed round led by TriEdge Investments.

Previously, I led design and AI strategy at Kyndryl Vital, where I built 0→1 products on top of legacy data for healthcare, insurance and government clients. Before that, I built experiences and events for Nike, HBO and LEGO, among others, at Team Epiphany.

I've run field studies for government and insurance clients, longitudinal experiments for retail, and a project reading participant reflections from seventy countries, which won the Global Dialogues Challenge in 2025.

Work

2025 – present
Hypha AI — I joined as the first designer and now lead Design & Experience across product and brand. I set up how we do research, our interaction principles, and a design system that lives in Figma and in code with the same tokens, so what we design is what ships. I work with the CEO and the engineers every day, prototype against real data, and push my own PRs. I’ve grown the team from 0 to 5 and taken the product from pre-revenue to 6 figure ARR.

2024 – 2025
Kyndryl Vital — I led design and AI strategy for clients in healthcare, insurance and government, building new AI products on top of legacy data. My work as focused on -1 —> 0 product building: user research, product-market fit, MVP creation and validation.

2022 – 2024
Team Epiphany — Experiential Designer and Strategist. Built experiences and events for Nike, HBO and LEGO, among others. Designed longitudinal experiments measuring how audiences responded to AI implementations for top-five retail clients, and tested spatial and digital experiences to find engagement drop-off and interface friction across touchpoints.

Spaceagency Design, London — Strategic Design Consultant. Led a multidisciplinary team through research and workshops that turned qualitative and quantitative studies into product direction for emerging markets.

2025 · Global Dialogues Challenge, winner

The World Wants to Feel AI — Global Dialogues is a collection of participant reflections from more than seventy countries about living with AI. I read them as stories rather than data points, and found the same tension everywhere: people want systems that know when to pause, that recognize silence, that respect the rhythms of a day.
I wrote two forecasts to 2035: one where the attention economy continues unchecked, and one where we design AI for presence instead.

Many Minds, Many Cursors — Design principles and prototypes for software where humans and AI agents work in the same space at the same time. I interviewed five peers about which parts of their work they wanted to keep doing themselves and which they would hand to an agent, then prototyped cursor behaviors that make it visible who — or what — did what.

Hopscotch — A research study that adds AI-composed haptics to a children's game. Each square is a pressure-sensing pad with a haptic motor. The pad you're standing on pulses a pattern that tells you which pad to jump to next; there are no printed instructions, and players work it out as they go. Presented for the Six Foot Platform on Washington Street, Dumbo.

Experiments with Chai — A set of kettles designed around the ritual of making tea. An easy pull means no
spillage, so people with hand tremors can pour safely. A knob turns the hot plate off when the tea is ready, so
there is no overflow. The controls are safe enough for a child to join the morning routine.

Thought Asks — How might we design AI to trigger new thought rather than replace it?
A quick sprint on alternative ways to talk to a chatbot: a blank canvas instead of a text box,
exercises that teach the system how you learn before it answers, and a readiness indicator that
shows how much you actually know about a topic before you form an opinion.
